SesamTV Media Center is a multimedia player software designed to be viewed on a TV set. If you want to fully enjoy it, you will need a graphic card with a TV OUT feature.

Once the PC TVOUT is connected to the TV (with wire or wireless), you will have to activate the TV OUT and then set the TV OUT to be your computer main display.

Sometimes it is mandatory to connect the cable to the video card TV output before starting the PC.

Manual TV output activation:

Click right with the mouse on the windows desktop and select properties (you can also go in Windows Control Panel and select the display settings icon).

Open the parameters tab:

Click on "Advanced..."
The next steps depend on the graphic card used and its driver version. We now describe how to configure NVidia (GeForce...) cards and ATI (Radeon...) cards. Other graphic cards builder offer similar settings.

NVidia cards:

If you encounter problems, upgrade your driver. You can download it at: Detonator drivers.

When you click on "Advanced" in the display setting, you get:

Click on "GeForce..." tab (this tab may have a different name but it's always on the top right)

Then click "nView" in the left menu :

You can now configure your tv out feature. Select the "clone" mode.

Note: If clone mode is grey (inactive), PC can't detect TV. Check computer to TV connection.

Then select your TV in "Display:" menu and quote "Use as main display".

Note: if you can see SesamTV Media Center on your Tv but can't see any video it is certainly because the TV is not set as your main screen.

ATI cards:

If you encounter problems, upgrade your driver. You can download it on: Catalyst driver.

Clicking on "Advanced" in the display setting gives:

Click on "Display" tab.

You can now configure your tv out feature. Clic on the start button to activate TV Out.

Note: if "start" button is grey (inactive), check computer to TV connection: PC can't detect TV..

Press TV button to set TV as the main display and screen button to set the computer screen as the secondary display:

Note: if you can see Sesamtv on your TV but can't see any video it is certainly because the TV is not set as your main screen.
