SesamTV Media Center does not contain its own DVD
software decoder. SesamTV Media Center's DVD is working with
all common DVD software decoders.
In order to use the DVD application, a DVD
player and its software decoder must be installed on your
PC. This DVD software decoder is usually delivered with
the DVD player package.
Compact Disc (CD)
The audio CD must be inserted
into the first CD player
of your PC to be fully fonctional.
Generating
the multimedia libraries
To display your hard drive multimedia files
whithin SesamTV Media Center, you must first build the multimedia
libraries.
In SesamTV Media Center, media lists (audio, video and photo player) can be rendered by text or by cover. The covers have to be in jpeg format.
AUDIO: For audio player, each album can be represented by a graphical thumbnail: the album cover. For each album, the graphical thumbnail is extracted with the following priority:
- jpeg which has the same name than the album in the same directory.
- jpeg with the name "cover.jpg" in the same directory.
- first jpeg found in the same directory.
VIDEO: - The jpeg which has the same name than the video file is selected to create the cover thumbnail.
PICTURE: - The pictures thumbnails are automatically created from the pictures files.
Screen saver
When starting SesamTV Media Center, the windows screen
saver is automatically deactivated. SesamTV Media Center has its own
screen saver management process. This one is activated after
3 minutes when SesamTV Media Center is the active application and if
no media is played. If a media is currently playing, the
application will switch in full screen mode after 3 minutes.
You can modify the SesamTV Media Center's screensaver
by replacing file "Sesamtv.scr" located
in "windows/system32".
Tips and tricks
- The right mouse button is always used
to switch multimedia window into "full screen"
mode. If you are in "full screen" mode, the right
mouse button is used to come back into "normal screen"
mode.
- In "Full Screen" mode you can modify the video size by using the "UP" and "DOWN" arrow on the keyboard or the remote control.
- In "Full Screen" mode you can
also use the "ENTER" or "ESC" keys to
come back into the "normal screen" mode.
