This is the first page when you start SesamTV Media Center. From this page you can easily access all the SesamTV programs.

The following picture represents the SesamTV Media Center home page.

This page is made of a programs list and buttons, located on the left side of the list. Click on a program to start it.

The list contains, at least, the SesamTV programs described below.

Television: This player enables you to watch and record analogical and digital TV.

Video: This player enables you to play video files like those extracted from your digital video camera.

DVD Player: This player enables you to read your favourites DVD.

Audio: This player enables you to play music files (.mp3) or Audio Compact Disc.

Photo: This player enables you to read picture files (.jpeg, .bmp) like those extracted from your digital photo camera.

Radio: This player enables you to listen to Internet radios. You can listen radios from SesamTV or add your owns.

: This button of Home application enables you to configure SesamTV Media Center. It gives access to "Modify the list", "Change skins", "Help", "About SesamTV" and "Display settings".

Modify the programs list

The following picture represents the "Modify programs list" page.

The list on the left side is used to select a program.
Text boxes on the right side contain Information about the current selected program in the list.

To add a new program to the list

To remove the selected program from the list.

To move up the selected program.

To move down the selected program.

On the right side you have the following parameters.

Name: The selected programs name. This is name which appears on the main page.

The following options are only available for PC programs who have been added by the user (programs which are not integrated in SesamTV Media Center)

Target location: Specifies the .exe file name location on the hard drive.

Start in: Specifies the folder containing related files to the executable file. Sometimes, programs need to use files from other locations. You might need to specify the folder where this files are located if this folder is different from the executable file folder.

File browser: This option enables to launch the file browser before starting the program. The main purpose is to select a file to be opened with the program.
Selecting this option, display the "%FB" string in the "Start Options" text box. When starting a program, the "%FB" string is replaced by the complete file name selected with the file browser.

Start options: These options are specific to each program.
Start options are the options available in the program command line. These options are detailed in the help file of each program.
If you select the "file browser" option, the string "%FB" appears in the start option text box. This means that the file you are choosing with the file browser is used in the command line when you start the program.

Example with "Windows Media Player"

Target location: C:/Program Files/Windows Media Player/wmplayer.exe
Start options: %FB /fullscreen

At the media player software start from the main page, the file browser opens. If the user chooses the file C:/My Music/music.mp3, media player starts using the following command line:

C:/Program Files/Windows Media Player/wmplayer.exe C:/My Music/music.mp3 /fullscreen

Windows size: Specifies how you want the windows to display this program:
Normal window: program opens in a standard window
Minimized: program opens in the taskbar
Maximized: program opens in full screen windows

IR Assistant Group: This option is not available with this version.

Change skins

The following picture represents the "appearance control" page.

On the left side of the page you can found all the SesamTV applications (Audio Jukebox, video ...).

Options on the right side are only available if you select a player.

Default image: Select this option if you want to display the default background image delivered with SesamTV Media Center.

Display my image: Select this option if you want to display the background image defined in the "my background location" text box.

My image location: this text box is only available if you cross the "Display my image" option. This text box allows you to specifie the location of your background image (only jpeg files are supported).

Display settings

The following picture represents the "Display settings" page.

These parameters allow you to adapt the display to your TV screen. You can set every type of display: 4/3, 16/9, 15/9, ...

Screen Size: Select the buttons to modify the width and the heigth of SesamTV Media Center.

Screen Position: Select the buttons to modify the position of SesamTV Media Center User Interface, i.e. the screen position.

Always on top: Select the buttons if you want to always have SesamTV Media Center above the other programs when it is launched.

Animation Quality: There are animations for screen transitions. Old PCs could have issues with these animation due to a lack of power. In these case, animations can be simplified or suppress (NONE).

Restore Default: Select this button if you want to get back the default settings.
