TV Everywhere

Operators are deploying TV services over PCs to extend the richness of their offer and to deploy multiroom TV and PVR to their customers’ base.

Operators can leverage the customer’s PC as a popular STB, thus use the existing TV back-end (CAS/DRM system, streamers…) to bring the full TV service portal to a very large number of displays at marginal cost.

An ideal complement to the STB in the home, the "TV Everywhere" solution contributes to bring the new generation of gateways and STB to enableTV and PVR redistribution in the house.

"TV Everywhere"solution is running on a Personal Computer and is composed of

  • A TV portal providing user experience for TV, VoD, PVR, EPG and other services
  • A Middleware on personal computers providing the TV media engine with all back end servers, DVB / IP  management and communication protocols
